Source B: DAT --- Core Sound Binaurals > Sony TCD-D8

Notes: For a few years, this DAT source simply did not float around in the trading pool. Not sure why. Regardless, this may not be a fantastic capture of a amazing & completely unique performance of Tool; it is an excellent + accurate capture of Tool on one of their relatively stable 2001-era shows. I do not think that the taper was front of stack for recording nor was he in the sweet spot. The crash of the cymbals lead me to infer that the taper was looking towards his/her left as was seating (possibly). However, there is a little bit of movement during the Grudge & the taper appears to get a slightly better position for taping for more of a full-fledged & balanced recording. (Note: I am being excessively picky here - this is a tight recording). Although I simply have not heard all of the sources for this performance, this recording would be a very, very hard thing to attempt to beat as far as sound quality & overall enjoyment. So, go do that...
