Source C: Mini Disc --- Sony ECM-DS70P > Sharp MT-821
Taper: Jared D.
Gen: 1st from Master
MP3 Sample: Right click & save
Notes: Although this was taped from the pit and has its moments of being quite loud with talking, high pitched screaming and crowd talking/singing; it still sounds quite good. It seems as though the crowd is pushing up against one another as the microphones get hit and moves...a few mini-disc skips as well from getting hit. This is, perhaps, a bit less professional than some of the taper's other works but is a good recording. Levels are nice and, somehow, are not distorted although the bass comes very close a few times. Considering the location of taping; a nice product. For what its worth, this is more of a 'live' sound recording rather than an astounding 'quality' recording... if that makes sense. This recording was equalized & the taper did some other things to this recording to get the sound more balanced. There is an un-mastered version that the taper gave to me, has slightly different track times.
Maynardism: "Hopefully, we'll see some of you tomorrow."
