Notes:
Sound is pretty good,
especially for a video. It is mildly brickwalled in a couple spots &
during Sober, the sound jack comes half-in/half-out for about 45 seconds.
Other than that, nice show. Video is very clear & relatively still
except for the middle of The Patient. Crazy time. The
Grudge has about 15 seconds in the beginning missing. I purchased this in
Camden Market, Camden Town, London, England from 'Dusca Discs' who's
supplier for VHS (PAL & NTSC format) recordings is Master8UK (Neil Adams AKA
Chris Adams) --- the taper. Word to the wise; Master8UK does a good job but
I have a sneaking suspicion he was attempting to blow me off as I sent him
(after I bought this show in London) 'X' amount of dollars for a bunch of
Tool VHS shows. It took 6 days for my payment to reach him & over 4 months
of constant bothering until he sent them. I can go on, but I won't. Getting
back to the recording, it is relatively professional & is filmed from the
left side, shot almost downward. Sound has a very loud feel to it but is not
at all bad; very good, in fact, for a VHS source. Beware, there are
numerous DVD rips of this recording out there that are not from the master.
Maynardism:
"Because you people were
good enough to allow us to play two nights in a row, we decided to do a song
we haven't done yet. Nothing like a little pressure, eh guys?"
