Notes:
Nice sound. Deep, rich -
like silt on a river bed. However, the bass seems to be slightly heavy and
the high end is not as crisp as one would assume it would be in a recording
like this. The crowd is rather audible as well - complete with fans singing.
Rather noticeable, at least to me, on the Grudge. There are some microphone
movement, a little bit of phasing and the taper's hand or something brushing
up against the mics. Although not criticisms in anyway, it is relevant that
one should make a note of those issues. On the other hand, the recording is
a very nice capture of Tool at a rather interesting point in their career.
Good performance, good show & a good recording. Not much else to say.
Maynardism:
"Good evening. Tonight, is
all about pleasure. It is an absolute pleasure to see you again. It is an
absolute pleasure to share the stage with King Crimson."
