Notes: The beginning, pre-grudge, has a lot of drum kicks by Danny & Adam sort of jamming as Maynard says 'hello Pinkpop' through a haze of voice distortion --- sort of like 05.26.01. Sound is very clear & the crowd, although audible, is not very loud. For the equipment used, this is a pretty tasty recording. I find this surprising as Sony mics are usually not very good. In fact, this entire recording sounds way better than most recordings that are Sony ECM based. The band simply seems to be having actual fun whilst performing as they just lay-out a blistering set. One of the better European performances, IMO. Also, at the end of the gig, the crowd actually claps for a while (decently as well) into Lateralus. Interesting stuff.
