Source: Mini Disc --- Sony ECM-DS70P > Sony MZ R-30

Notes: Well, this recording seems to be the only source for this gig uncovered this far. The performance, really, is quite standard & normal for Tool on this tour - tight & professional. However, the recording is not so good. It sounds like it was recorded on a cassette or something as a slight layer of fuzz coats the recording. Crowd is not very loud except between songs & the music itself seems to be slightly distant. This show is probably best left, simply, for collector's only. There are track transitions between songs & most copies seem to be sourced from, yes, MP3. In fact, it seems that the taper may have not traded out a WAV profile, ever, as he upped it to an FTP & people downloaded it from there. Too bad. There are rumored to be 2 sources known: this one + an 'unknown walkman recording' which is in turn simply MP3-spread copies of this recording where source information is missing. Funny to hear the Non-Comformists Oath at this stage of the tour.
Maynardism: "As you all know, art saves lives. So in order to have art, you have to be a very creative person. So you have to take the non-conformist oath. Are you ready? Repeat after me. Think for yourself. Question authority. Strive to be different. Strive to be unique. Never repeat things that other people say"
