Notes / 2001:
Great recording. Although
there seems to be a lot of crowd chatter, at times, in the background of
this recording, it is mostly un-noticeable as the sound of Tool fills all
gaps. Interesting, there is almost constant talking but, for the life of me,
I cannot distinguish anything at all...maybe because it is in German. Tool
seems to be playing a bit more harder or edgier than in other performances.
This is a rock-show, in all it's glory. For the collector's, this is one of
the only shows, the only show with a recording in circulation, where Tool
did -not- play Lateralus in 2001. For that fact alone, it
makes this semi-more interesting. At least to me. Highly recommended
performance & recording. Sounds like the taper was or may have been
relatively close to the stacks as well. Always a plus.
