Notes:
The performance itself is
very intense. It just is. They do the pre-Grudge jam which is Adam riffing,
Dan drumming & Justin sort of scaling. Interesting. Then, MJK's vocals come
over the speaker as the band is quiet. During the quietness, you can hear
another band performing on a different stage. The Grudge hits the air and is
as clear as anything else hits your ear. Probably one of the better
recordings of 2001, period, this captures a side of Tool not seen nor heard
in the United States. Not much more to say, this is one to be
heard, not really discussed. I find it hard to believe that this recording
was taped with Sony mics as, in many cases, the sound just lacks depth.
There has been debate over the precise source information, for the record.
