Notes: This might be my favorite filming that this particular taper has done. Shot from the middle-mezzanine seating, this source captures some very clear and concise close-ups of the entire band, shrouded in black. Very cool when there is a close-up & all you can make out is the shadow then -bam- flashes of light, interesting. With many video sources, there is a lot of bouncing and the camera shakes, not on this one. The video screens that Tool used during the 02 tour are used to dramatic effect, the Grudge appears like it could be from a music video. the audio is very clear. During the intro, sure, there is a bit of shaking of the camera but after being situated, all is good. Some of the best close-ups of Adam from this tour are on this video. It is not known whether this audio is from the Mini-DV recorded or from ECM>R700 MD source. For some reason, I think the MD source may be synched up to this video. Unfortunately, the taper has not been able to provide clarity on this subject. All in all, a very worthwhile & enjoyable capture of Tool. The band played well this night but it would be hard to do much more than say it was an average performance, if you know what I mean.
