Source A: Mini Disc --- Core Sound Binaurals (clones) > Sharp MT-770
MP3 Sample: Right click & save
Notes: Interesting show. Instead of starting off with Sober, they do Commando first, talk about throwing people for a loop. The recording is very clear, crisp & there are absolutely no complaints with the quality. Most of the copies of this source in circulation are sourced from SHN. Regardless of how you feel about SHN, I am not a huge fan but apparently there is no difference -- still, I would rather have a SHN free recording, you should know that this was first put onto the Tool Hub for download. Thankfully, the copy I have is not sourced from SHN & is a 2nd gen from the taper. As such, perhaps an indication of how to tell the difference between SHN versus non-SHN, the tracks are not split up. On the other hand, recently, I received the exact same recording <time + everything_> the same but with distinct track marks. So, your guess is as good as mine. The performance is very polished & it is interesting that they did not play Disposition & Reflection this night This is the last show of the summer 2002 tour. This recording was reportedly taped from the lower bowl, second section on left.
Maynardism: "We would like to thank Tomahawk for doing this tour with us. Thank you guys, Kevin, Mike John & Dorian from Tomahawk. This is the last show of this leg. Ready to go home & masturbate to Cinemax for about three weeks. I'm not going to even think once about your needs are for three weeks. I'm going to eat food & shit for three weeks. I'm going to lay back & have some fun for three weeks. Thank you very much for sharing this precious moment with us. Always a pleasure, never a chore. Make sure to tip your waitress on the way out. And remember, always know it's never...never, use a condom on the first date. Yes. See you on the other side."
