Notes: This recording is best left for collectors. The bass is distorted, the vocals are muddy & it is a challenge to listen to. In fact, I wonder how many people can? There are worse recordings from this era of touring available but this is in the top 5, if that makes sense to you. I used this type of microphone for a short time a long time ago & although the recordings you get will not be great, you can improve the sound by using a volume control to limit the amount of sound going into your device. This taper simply plugged the mics into the mic-in slot thus the massive, massive distortion when the bass hits. That, and the microphones are shit. As it is, there are a few brief moments of clarity but even those are fleeting. Ah well. Something better than nothing? In the eye of the beholder. Also, this has most likely only been sourced from SHN>CD>SHN>CD or something like that. All discs are 1 track for each disc. Enjoy, Intermission is the clearest part of the recording.
Maynardism: "Apparently, Augusta. Hmm... Well, Lewiston has you beat so far. Augusta? Give you one more chance, Augusta?"
(Dr. Leary: 'Think for Yourself, Question Authority' - beginning of song)
