Notes: Always wondered how a Tool show would be on Halloween. How they would react, what they would do differently, if anything? Apparently, not much of a change to the setlist but this crowd did get my favorite set for this leg of the tour. According to reviews, Justin was 'Maynard' with a mask & a tight jumpsuit, Maynard was all black with reflective spots, Danny had an afro & Adam was Adam. Interesting. The recording is decent. There is a bit of screaming and high end frequency/sensitivity that the mics pick up which, at times, overpower the sound as a whole. This happens only a few times though but is worth noting. Other than high pitch issues caused by screaming right by the mics there are not any real negative issues. This is not the best recording but it is, nonetheless, relatively clear & is an accurate capture of a decent Tool show. Simple as that. If you will notice, even years later, this is still a rare-ish recording. The taper asked me to not openly trade it so I oblige but other people -other- than me have this recording source & are openly trading it. But I will not as I was asked not to. Sorry. I suppose that the same would be with DVN's source, people have it & are asked not to trade it but do anyway. Se la vi, se le va. Although, as of 2004/2005 Jared's source has ended up being relatively common as it should be. Should be easy to find, the same, cannot be said of DVN's...
Maynardism: "Long Island. Happy Halloween. Hello? Just checking."
