Source C: Mini Disc --- Sound Professionals Premium Shure Cardioids > Sharp MT-877 / LP2
Taper: C. Brightwell
Gen: 1st from Master
MP3 Sample: Right click & save
Notes: Real nice mini disc recording, all things considering. Tool performed real well this night. Not sure where the taper was standing but I think he was front of board. The crowd is low & the music seems to hit the microphones just right. There is no brickwall, high nor low distortion but is instead is a nice product. For some reason, this is the only -complete- source which has made it's way into the trading pool as the other versions are slightly incomplete in places. This source has the clearest & most intense recording of Third Eye of the sources out. Although there are a few instances of the taper & friend(s) semi-talking it is no more so than what is common in most bootlegs. The only issue I have is when people say Dr. Leary's speech before or as it comes out of the speakers. But, all in all, this is a very good recording. Nice job to the taper... very nice capture of Tool. If more recordings sounded pretty much like this one, the world would be a better place. Well, maybe not but the world would sound better.
