Notes: The taper stood directly in front of the left stacks and it shows. This is one of the clearest recordings of 2002. Some people claim it is the best sounding recording from the Fall tour. I don't know about that, per se, but this is definitely a superb recording. The bass drum seems to have a life of it's own as Adam's guitar simply riffs almost effortlessly. The vocals are crystal clear & I don't think Justin's bass has really sounded any more solid. To top it off, this is simply a real good performance by Tool....although, it can be agreed upon, most are good performances. But the quality of this particular recording seems to sort of elevate it. All in all, this is one recording which has already been let loose all over the Tool Hub & was first released in SHN format. This has the clearest version of Third Eye I think I've ever heard...great stuff.
Maynardism: "Good evening. Y'all plan on having fun tonight, right? We probably should make some kind of distinction. What kind of fun we're gonna have tonight. Not like WWF or monster truck kind of fun. And not like Limp Bizkit, Kid Rock kind of fun. The difference being we don't underestimate your intelligence. We're going to have informed, intelligent, inspired, think for yourself - question authority kind of fun, yes? Having said that..."
