Notes: Mastered to CD by Rajan. This is a very clear recording, for using Sony mics...this is very surprising as the sound quality is quite well & crisp. No brickwall & the crowd, although noticeable, is not too bad, relatively speaking. For some reason, Rajan & 2L's recordings all turned out to be very nice, overall. This was recorded, according to the taper: "Smack bang in the middle". Although this particular show will most likely not be remembered for it's diversity, it will be remembered by a very nice recording. The performance is very tight after a year on the road - almost straight. The crowd seems to really be into the show as well. Osseus Labyrinth toured with Tool this leg of the tour... during the Intermission - you can hear someone say 'whoah - look at those things'. Kind of funny. There is a video of this recording that is floating around as well, this is rather hard to come by. If you have info, please let me know. As a point of interest, there is a Merkaba-like-element to the intro of Sober which is definitely worth checking out. Tasty!
