Notes:
Good sounding recording but
has a bit of crowd noise at times. Not terrible though but potentially worth
noticing. Probably, the highlight of this show is the fact that Flood & The
Grudge are intertwined into one song rather than two which is, in my
opinion, one of the most intriguing aspects of this leg of the tour. Tool
simply did not do this a whole lot of times. If you listen to this recording
with headphones, you can hear that the left side is initially a little more
dominant in sound than the right side is. The taper corrects this during The
Grudge. I wish Tool would've realized how much US audiences would enjoy
hearing that combination - we would. At least, there are fellow tapers all
over the world who have taken it upon themselves to record possibly one of
the most intense bands known to modern music. Second only to the "Scott
Hill Clown Band".
Maynardism:
"Let's try something. In
these difficult days, the world could use a boost. The world could use some
healing so let's do our small part now. On three I want you to all say yes
as loud as you can. 1, 2, 3."
