Notes: Has a decent brickwall as the levels were set too high. Or else, it sounds like the taper ran mic-in instead of line-in. Most likely, the Sony ECM mics just took a shit as they sometimes do in a bad position where they cannot handle the power. When the bass hits - it hits hard & sort of 'grumbles'. Not really distortion, just a brickwall. The first few seconds of 'grudge' are missing & the audio jumps for about 4 seconds into the song. Good capture of Jimmy though. All in all, everything considered, not bad....considering that this is the only recording to surface until 2003. Some may feel that this recording would be best reserved for collectors. Interesting performance, Maynard mentions drugs for a few nights. This is one of those nights...I wonder why?
