Notes: Very good recording. I really enjoy the taper's work, he does a good job. Sound is crisp, vibrant & the crowd noise is very low. The cardioids add a bit as well. European shows seem to have a different effect on a Tool performance, I think. Maybe they are a little more free to enjoy themselves without the US press/fans scrutinizing everything. I think this particular performance, Tool loosened up a bit and (although played the same), the songs seem to have a different sort of definition, if you follow me. Perhaps it has something to do with this recording...the mood just feels different. Not bad or negative, just a different experience than a show in states.
Notes: This recording, although incomplete, is still an excellent listen. Why is it incomplete? According to the taper, he ran out of Mini Disc space... Ouch.
