Notes: It took well over 3 years for this recording to actually show up anywhere and has, up until now, unconfirmed to exist. However, this is an inferior recording as far as this is an MP3 recording. All limited number of copies (as of 12/2004) are from MP3 @ 256kbs. Information pertaining to the source information is simply not known. Taking an educated guess, either the taper or a friend of the taper casually put this onto MP3 & either uploaded it to a FTP or used another file sharing device. The person I received this from said he downloaded this from Soul Seek a while ago. There are no known non-MP3 recordings to be around in any capacity.
Notes: For an MP3 sourced recording, not really all that bad. In fact, other than track transitions between songs, I wonder how many people could tell the difference between this versus a different, non-MP3 source? The microphones sound like they could be a pair of Core Sounds and this is definitely not a DAT recording. Potentially: CSB>Sony/Sharp MD? Maybe. No one knows. Although adding any sort of MP3 based content into the trade community is not desired, this already is & as such it should be noted with whatever source info we have at our disposal. As for the performance, Tool was "on" of course but Stinkfist had a problem with timing in the beginning of the song. Haven't heard them mess that up on this leg of the tour. Interesting performance, all around. Due to the format, this would be recommended for collectors only.
Maynardism: "It's a pleasure to meet you. This is Tool."
