Notes:
Come on now everyone
tends to go gaga over a Schoeps recording. Well, this recording gives good
evidence in regards to the overall quality that is possible from such a taping
rig. The guitar, bass & drum seem to be in unison as you close your eyes,
imagining you are hearing it live. The vocals are, like many shows from this
leg, distant in nature & are semi-obscured (by clouds). Although I do enjoy this
recording it really does not give me a rush of blood to the head so to speak. It
is definitely far above average for recordings from this time period & the fact
that the taper disseminated this to the masses is definitely a very positive
thing. As of 08/2007 this is the only source to be floating around, although,
there are more sources known to be in existence. This could, possibly, be a
highly recommended recording as you will hear few AUD recordings of Rosetta
Stoned that can compare.
Notes:
Along with this particular
release, the taper included the 09/05/1991 SBD recording after
Ænema. I have no idea
why anyone would do that, but, there you go.
Maynardism:
"Whats going on
out there? I'll tell you whats goin on. All the people in the seats are having
fun. You guys down here like rubbin up on other guys? Its just some fuckin rock
songs."
