Source B: Solid State Recorder --- Hama Stereo Digital Microphone 46108 > iPod Nano (8GB)
Taper: Eulenspiegel, contact for trade: email
Gen: 1 from Master
MP3 Sample: Right click & save
Notes: Surprisingly, this recording sounds quite good. Other sources with the Hama microphones do not sound as clean as this. The sound, to my ears, is similar to a Core Sound Cardioid recording; take a listen to the sample & decide - selected the scream from Stinkfist (sounds good!) so hopefully this will provide an indication. The taper pushed his equipment to the max. I would categorize this as a somewhat practical & creative taping rig. An iPod Namo is *small*, easy to sneak in & will record in 44.1 kHz. The microphone cost, new, is under 18 EU. There are many, many people who spend thousands of dollars in this hobby over the course of time with the hope to pull a really nice tape. For the equipment used, you would not expect an overall tasty recording. Recommended for all the right reasons.
Maynardism: "Thank you very much for coming out. We'll see you again next summer. I'll be wearing a mask then. A bigger mask. Good night. Look out for each other on the way home. See you soon"
