Notes:
There seems to be a bit more crowd noise in this recording than in other
sources, even with comparable microphones. Of course this is nothing the taper
could've done to prevent (I'm pretty sure) but instances such as during RI2 that
someone yells "go Danny" detracts from the feeling. I commend the taper for not
sending thoughts of ill-will to the heathens screaming. Even if for a moment.
The good bit is that the vocals are relatively clear & the bass is mixed fairly
well. If anything, it seems like Adam's guitar can overpower the other
instruments at times throughout the source. I wonder if this had something to do
with location or basically just a source info issue? Even though the crowd
around the taper apparently still has gills, this is a fine recording. Just with
the high quality recordings floating around during this era, well, sometimes
things the taper cannot control such as talkers does take something away from an
otherwise beautiful capture.
