Notes
(from someone): There is a disc switch right before Lateralus, so a few seconds
are missing. Very nice recording for being the taper's first attempt.
Notes: Well if it is true that this source is the first audio recording
by the taper then he should be very, very pleased with it. And rightly so.
Although there is a decent layer of crowd noise & the basic limitations of the
mics are evident (if one were a live recording snob that is) the overall result
is a pretty good capture. Unlike many sources the vocals are very high up in the
mix, a nice change. It is unclear to me which source is the better capture
(between A + B). The clarity of source A is pleasant whereas the loudness of the
vocals on this source is a welcome change. That said, there seems to be some
weird phasing throughout this source meaning when the bass gets really deep it
eats away at a mid level frequency or vice versa. Just my two cents.
