Notes: I'm a pretty big fan of this recording. Has this crunchy intensity that is just so often missing from live recordings. You can sort of feel the bass at times, in the back of the head, as it beats into your soul. Although MJK appeared (to me at least) to be rather quiet in the mix while at this show, this source does a rather nice job of pulling the voice out of the mix a bit. That said, each instrument is balanced quite pleasantly throughout. There are a few instances of microphone movement & crowd noise but these are merely fleeting non-issues that are virtually invisible. According to the taper, security was very tight where he was taping - however - he did a very nice job. This performance may be about as average as the 2009 Summer Tour, however, this recording it anything but average. Well above average? Something like that.
