Notes - Taper: No EQ done, just raised the volume some. Recording turned out much better than I was expecting given our seats. I haven't had a chance to listen all the way thru yet, just skipped thru some songs as I drove around for 15 minutes this evening, but I really couldn't find anything to complain about. Special thanks to Suzanne and Adam for helping keep an eye out and for an unforgettable weekend!
Notes: This is a veritable delight to listen to if not for the single reason that this is the first performance of the 2010 mini tour and first appearance of Third Eye, EOBA/The Patient and Intolerance in a very long time. The sound is not muddy but it is not necessarily in your-face either as it was clearly recorded from a distance. Not that that is a bad thing at all. Vocals are clean if not a tad buried in the mix at times but nothing the taper would have been able to do about that. Now what makes this source a trifle bit more interesting is that this taper also filmed this performance (obviously at the same time, smartass). Video is quite good as well. Overall, if you want to hear, what, history being made (well, Tool history) I would highly recommend this fresh gem.
