Notes: The second show of 1995. Recording is very clear, crisp & dynamic in sound. I've read that others give this show a B+ or A- for sound quality. I don't know about that as it's hard to really decipher letter grades as they are supremely subjective...but then again, so is this. The performance is quite interesting as well...seriously, imagine this set list these days. Or even back in 1995. The songs are evolving, a little rough but yet that seems to make them that much more intriguing. The performance is quite light-hearted and a fair amount of crowd interaction/involvement on the part of MJK & Paul. The taper sounds to be, at least to my ears, front of board or maybe up on mezzanine seating somewhere. Although not distant, the sound has a very live feel to it more so than other recordings from this particular era. Personally, I prefer recordings which are a little more close, concise & have less crowd noise but this is one of the better captures from 1995.
"Rowdy, rowdy, rowdy. You guys all right? Something we gotta do, before we keep going. You gotta raise up your hands, hands up, let me see your hands. Ok, Just wanted to check. See, some people say San Bernardino doesn't have thumbs but I just wanted to check that you all do. Strange place"
