This board is
unique in the fact that MJK's vocals are arguably the most "saturated" here than
on any other board recording including FM-aired performances; particularly on
the first few songs. The overall recording leaves one with a rather dull or
lackluster impression of the recording itself - although - there are a few
interesting vocal effects that are quite easy to hear on this recording -
something unique. At times, it sounds like all of the instruments are
being ran through some type of compression or something like that. Entire sound
is somewhat muted. There appears to be a fair amount of panning through this mix
as some parts change in intensity + volume almost randomly, throughout. Weird. I
wonder if the sound engineer was experimenting with sound because it does not
appear to be related to something like tape warble or anything like that...
