Opening for: Rage Against The Machine
Source: Sound Board > Analog Cables > Cassette-M > DAT-2 @ 32 KHZ
Taper: Sound Engineer
MP3 Sample: Right click & save
Notes: This board is unique in the fact that MJK's vocals are arguably the most "saturated" here than on any other board recording including FM-aired performances; particularly on the first few songs. The overall recording leaves one with a rather dull or lackluster impression of the recording itself - although - there are a few interesting vocal effects that are quite easy to hear on this recording - something unique. At times, it sounds like all of the instruments are being ran through some type of compression or something like that. Entire sound is somewhat muted. There appears to be a fair amount of panning through this mix as some parts change in intensity + volume almost randomly, throughout. Weird. I wonder if the sound engineer was experimenting with sound because it does not appear to be related to something like tape warble or anything like that...
Cold & Ugly
(cut about a minute in)
MJK: Shh, shh, shh, shh, shh
Paul: How you doing? Ok? You guys stop being so mean to me too... I'm just trying to have a good time you know. This song is called Sober.
Paul: This is about what happens to your butt in prison
MJK: This song is about butt-love.
Paul: This is a song called Undertow from our album called Undertow
Paul: This is our last song - thanks
((outro-music, sounds like either Babes In Toyland or Hole))
