Notes: There is an incomplete version of this recording that has been found on the 'Deserted' commercial non-silver disc bootleg. The audio is ripped from a VHS & this bootleg that was missing Eulogy & was sold on eBay in the late 1990's for an amount of time. For a VHS rip, the sound itself is quite good - there are some mini disc recordings that are simply not up to this caliber of capture. The video itself is decent but has a bit of spastic tendencies by the taper. The performance, to my eyes & ears, was a standard but yet fluid performance from 1996. Some say that Tool was at the top of their game at this stage, others say this was simply a tasty performance and that it is a blessing that this is out for trade & was captured in the first place. FWIW, I agree with both premises. Cut out on HWAP into 3rd Eye. By taking a look at two samples of different quality VHS>DVD's out there, you can see what an arduous task one may have in tracking down something of decent quality. This has also been widely, widely sold on eBay.
Notes: Please note that there have been more than one video > CD transfer + more than one VHS>DVD of this performance & that some are either simply incomplete or are sourced from Deserted.
