Notes: For some reason, this recording was always rumored to exist but no one seemed to have it. Apparently, it wasn't the taper as from what the skinny is he's just a cool fella not worried about the politics of the hobby... which means, it was the collector. The dreaded elite who's mission of life is to spread disease, Hepatitis C & not-spread-live-recordings of Tool. Performance wise, this was recorded clearly from the lawn area as the sound has 'distance' from the source. That said, this is a fine specimen. For the time period, one could summarize that this is more on the average side in regards to an audio capture. With more than average 'level adjustments' past song #1, some wind noise, crowd noise/yelling (i.e.: FREAKIN' MAYNAAAARD!!!!) & somewhat of a muddy lower frequency this is not the cleanest recording but it is still a worthwhile listen (so you can hear how good Tool used to sound).
