Notes:
Duncan traveled from
England to the States to attend Tool's 4-date mini-tour. His recording's of
the March mini-tour have, as of Sept. 2002, been put onto CD yet again by
the master taper. CatalystX remastered this recording as well & it is
commonly available.
Notes:
Man, the sound on this
recording is just simply wicked - for the equipment used. Tight. Balanced,
very low crowd noise & Maynard's vocals just scream. Limitations abound but
the overall effect outweighs the negatives, in my opinion. Absolutely no
brick-walls & not a hint of tape flutter or anything like that; simply a
rock-solid performance & taping job. So clear, you can even hear a bit of
the speaker static hum...which is evident on Pushit; which, may I add, is
one solid performance. The times below represent two common rips out there,
provided as a reference, the 2nd time to represent the 2002 CatalystX
remaster. What a setlist!
Maynardism:
"Is, is, uh, sodomoy still
illegal in Arizona? Thank God. Gives us a goal to work for."
