Notes: This was the first time I had ever heard of or heard the Fags. No, they are not a gay band, the name is
in reference to multiple cultural meanings. Think, classic-punk & you will be along their thinking. The Fags are
from Detroit, MI & are pretty much a garage-band type of sound which is relatively common among bands
from Michigan these days. Power chords & catchy tunes. Is that bad? Not if a band pulls it off accurately
enough. And, I think, the Fags do a rather good job of pulling it off (no pun intended). When you listen to this
group, do not expect anything ground-breaking or all that much different than stuff that has been done before.
They do have a certain flair & sound to them that, potentially w/lots of practice + polish, could bring them into
the mainstream. At this point, they are rather rough. Time will tell what happens to them.
