Band: And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead --- website
Location: Detroit, MI, USA @ The Majestic Theatre
Date: June 04, 2002

Equipment: Mini Disc --- Giant-Squid Powered Battery Box Binaural > Sony MZ-R700
Taping Position: Directly in front of right-front stack

Notes: I managed to convince 3 buddies to come see 'something you wouldn't regret', offered to drive (the
total 9 hour drive) & brought them into just outside the ghetto of Detroit, MI, USA. TOD put on a blistering
performance, my 2nd time seeing them, which made the entire audience stand in awe. Or shock, whichever
comes first. Retrospectively, the people in the audience either got it or they didn't, either loved it or hated it. In
classic TOD style, they managed to switch musical styles as well as instruments effortlessly & just blast the
audience with energy, blood, curse words & a demolition by Conrad at the end. They play very, very loud &
this show was no exception. Thankfully, I brought earplugs which allowed me to hear after the show, which
was not the same for my friends. After the show, TOD walked around & talked to the audience (again),
happilly signing autographs. I managed to get my vinyl copy of 'Source Tags & Codes' signed by the guys, this
is not scanned yet. The GSAL mics held up quite well this night, the sound engineer had the levels set pretty
much as best they could be.
