Band: And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead --- website Opening for: Queens Of The Stone Age Location: Detroit, MI, USA @ St. Andrews Hall Date: Sept. 13th, 2002
Equipment: Mini Disc --- Giant-Squid Powered Battery Box Binaural > Sony MD MZ-R700 Taping Position: Directly next to front right stack
Notes: Damn bass stacks at St. Andrews Hall are huge. Sometimes I can get in the right position where the full power/force of the bass is not completely hitting me. Unfortunately, I was not at that place for this show. The sound gets a little bit flooded with bass sometimes but other than that, very good as the highs are clear but, I think, you could say that the bass is overloaded... bummer. There is little crowd noise & the sound, overall, is very clear. Oddly enough, my buddy Ryan & I were walking into the venue when I saw Kevin from TOD & asked him how the UK tour went, he said good, we shook hands & said I was looking forward to the show tonight - my 3rd of TOD. Nice guy. Good time, bad-ass group, one of the best rock n roll bands around these days, IMO.
Setlist Attained?: Yes, 2 - from soundguy & other off of floor (some girl dropped it)
