Notes: First, this show was taped by me then the tapes were confistcated. Second, overall, this was an
interesting show. Although I was ejected halfway through the set, I did get to see fucked up antics such as
Gore-Gore the Dinasaur eating a disembowled, child moliesting Pope John Paul II (a puppet), slicing off of Mike
Tyson's arms & penis while the 'harmonious' sludge of GWAR cranks out lyrics like 'faggot, faggot a corpse full
of maggots' --- are not my scene although are of interest. Also, there were waaaaaaaaay to many Nazi skinheads
kicking the shit out of each other in the mosh pit. To make things worse, I brought in my side-bag to store my
keys, cell phone & writing pad (I always take notes at shows) & also the taping equipment. This alerted security &
they -seriously- grabbed me & took me into an office. I gave them my discs because they were being fucking
assholes & I really did not know better, would never give up discs again. Then, of course, I was kicked outsite
the venue....where I waited for 30 minutes for my friends to get out of the show. They were actually pretty
freaked out that I was missing but the guards would not let me even tell them. But that is how it goes. So, fuck
the orbit room & fuck GWAR a little bit for being such asses about taping. Like me or anyone would sell the
damn recording to get $, come on, how many people would be down for that? GWAR in Grand Rapids, MI? I
know some traders that would like it & trading only promotes the band that is taped so what's the deal? At least,
at the very least, I can proudly & accurately explain & tell people that I was, seriously, kicked out of a GWAR
show...
