Notes: I didn't really enjoy this show at all & it did not really turn out very well. Listening to it now, it's not all
that bad. There are some scrapes/mic hits for some reason, maybe due to the fact that I was pretty buzzed up.
The beginning, we were sitting in other people's seats, they come back so we have to move - nothing worse.
Think it may have been sweat running off into the mics. Speaking of which, the GSAL's turned to be shit for this
type of recording-location. There is slight high level distortion & the overall product is definitely not my favorite,
one of my least tight sounding recordings. The band & lead singer, especially, seemed like a big arena rock cliche.
But I'm just being critical... However, the crowd was loving them & sang very loudly, which was cool. So, from
the collective perception of attendees at this show, they put on a good one. But not my favorite. One thing funny
is that Brandon
(lead singer) said: "whew, sweaty? We saw 'Queens of the Stone Age' last night, now that was
sweaty." Like, he is so cool & not a rock-star that he can go to St. Andrews Hall & see an 'indie' band. I don't
like people who drop names & shit, it's pretty transparent. This was no exception.
