Notes: Wow. My buddy Ryan & I were pretty pumped about seeing George Benson & hearing some nice jazz
music. But when we got to the venue & saw that we were the youngest people there by about 40 years (no joke)
we knew this would suck musically. Also, we decided there was no way we were going to pay to see either acts.
So, we lied & manipulated our way in. Actually, some guy just gave us a ticket & I said I was a reporter & got in
that way. Natalie Cole lived up to expectations. Goddamn, this type of music is just terrible. It's a good thing we
have a pretty open mind & just drank beer & made fun of the show or else we would've been miserable. I think
the highlight was when she sang that 'this will be an everlasting love' song that is on a viagra commercial. And, I
had at least an inkling of excitement to hear what Nat King Cole's daughter could do. That is funny.
