Taping Position: Dead-Center Mezzanine.

Notes: This is probably one of the better recordings with my old Radioshack mics because of the rather lucky
sound + position I was in. The venue is where graduates of Eastern Michigan University, kids who aren't smart
enough to get to University of Michigan or Michigan State University, walk across to get their degrees of
McCooking & Janitorial certificates. Oh wait, just kidding. This show was far from sold-out but the crowd was
really quite cool; cheering when appropriate & having a good time & most importantly not near me to make any
distracting noise. They cheered when appropriate & did not talk between songs, wish that would happen more
ofthen. Very relaxed atmosphere; except security which fellt me up, rather tight.  I did my best to make not a
sound during this recording to make up for the shitty 03.24.01 I did in which I chatted & was silly. It worked. As
for the band, Maynard was in a good mood & joked quite a bit with Josh Freese about sending Penis's Fed-Ex,
sex-changes & what the 'Hollow' was renamed to (the damn yankees ruined poor Ted). The performance by the
band was very funny, if nothing else. They threw in the -alternate- 1st lyrics of Orsestes as well, very
interesting. I've traded this recording out to a few people, it should be floating around some people's collections
at least.
