Notes: I've listened to MLWTTKK since 1987 & have always been a fan. At this show, I was hoping to hear
more older stuff instead of the newer stuff but was happy anyway. At least I got to see them before they
overdosed on drugs... or, will they? The highlights were such beautifully crafted hits such as: "Burning Dirt",
"Days of Swine & Roses" and "Sex On Wheelz". Either you like it or you do not. A lot more to say but not much
I feel like writing. Probably the weirdest thing, but maybe not all together surprising, was that my buddy & I got
hit on by two gay guys, dressed in leather. The TKK had this chick singer that was just this nasty, overweight
girl dressed in waaay too tight leather. Eww. That was pretty funny, actually. The TKK actually comprise of two
people, the lead singer "Groovey Man" & the keyboardist, vocalist, programmer & maistro
(not sure of what his name
is)
. Another side note, some hippy-guy (diverse crowd) smoked a fat ass jib with me. I was at this show from when
the doors opened, something like 9:00pm until they left the stage at something like 2:30am. That is way to late for
a concert, IMO. They had about 3 shitty bands open up for them & all really, really were irritating & very
aggressive. You know, that sort of thing. There were also a wide array of random goth-chicks & boys who
looked a lot like women dressed in drag, if you follow. Weird crowd but, overall, a good time. PRobably not for
everyone's tastes, that is for sure.
